As an experienced, qualified psychotherapist and supervisor, I offer therapy to individuals aged 18 and over and supervision to both qualified and trainee therapists. My approach is grounded in trust, warmth, transparency and a commitment to supporting you in creating lasting change and personal growth.
I offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly about issues or challenges you’re facing. My goal is to build a relationship based on trust, openness, and honesty where you feel accepted without judgement. Together, we can explore the root of what’s causing you distress and discover healthier ways to cope. I’ll also support you in understanding yourself better — how you think, feel, react, and respond. I follow your lead, working at your pace, gently offering challenges to encourage new perspectives and greater self-awareness. I tailor my therapeutic approach to fit your unique needs and individual circumstances drawing on a range of theories and methods, selecting what feels most helpful for you at each stage.
Psychotherapy is a way to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a safe and supportive environment. We work together to better understand yourself, cope with challenges and make positive changes in your life. As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic, Existential, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural theories. This allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs and to adapt the therapy as it evolves.
I work relationally, placing our therapeutic relationship at the centre of our work. By paying close attention to how we impact and influence each other in the ‘here and now’, we can begin to uncover unconscious patterns of relating that may be contributing to your current struggles. At the same time, we’ll explore your past experiences to better understand how earlier relationships and defences may still be shaping your responses today.
Psychotherapy can support you with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, loss, trauma and abuse. It can help to identify and process blocks and barriers, helping you to live in a way that feels more authentic and true to who you are.
As a qualified supervisor, I offer both one-to-one and group supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors. I work collaboratively to create a safe, non-judgemental space where reflection, learning, and professional development can flourish.
Drawing on Inskipp & Proctor’s Functional Model and Shohet & Hawkins’ Seven-Eyed Model, I adapt my approach to suit the unique needs of each supervisee.
I invite supervisees to bring their whole selves and all aspects of their practice into the supervision space so that, together, we can explore their work in depth—for the ultimate benefit of their clients.
